  A new creation featuring three amazing Bay Area drummers, Hamir Atwal, Jordan Glenn and Sam Ospovat as well as guitarist Ava Mendoza and saxophonist Cory Wright. The band plays new compositions that cover a wide range of music, from ethereal dreamscapes to grimy blues shuffles.

Bio

Bio
- Michael has been playing piano for a long time. He started playing in Brooklyn, NY in 1989, then he played in Oberlin, OH for several years. Since then, he's been playing piano in Oakland, CA. Besides piano, Michael enjoys playing various keyboards and synths as well as drums, guitar and clarinet (kind of).
  
  Michael currently leads his own quartet, Arts & Sciences as well as a sextet called CavityFang. He is part of the collective trio, Beep and plays a major role in the pop quartet Kapowski. He is also a sideman in Aram Shelton's Marches, Aaron Novik's Dante Counterstamp, Jacob Zimmerman's Lawson Ensemble and the Permanent Wave Ensemble. He plays drums and sings in Jean Marie and Sunday Ghost.
